Privacy and data removal
Refolk stores what it needs to run your account and nothing speculative: personal data is never sold, and conversations are never used to train third-party models. Search results about third parties contain only publicly available information, and removal requests are honored.
What is stored about you
- Account data - email, name, and avatar from your sign-in provider.
- Your searches - queries, conversations, and the credit ledger, so history and billing work.
- Payment data - handled by Stripe; card details never touch Refolk’s servers.
If you appear in search results
Results surface public information about third parties - public GitHub activity, public LinkedIn and Crunchbase records, and the open web. To have your information removed from results, email hello@refolk.ai. Requests are actioned within 30 days where the law requires.
Deleting your account
Email hello@refolk.ai from your account address. The account, conversations, and credit ledger are purged within 30 days, subject to the billing and audit retention the law requires.
