Credits and pricing

Searches are priced in credits, at one price a search. The free tier covers a signup grant and a monthly refill, and needs no card. Paid plans raise the monthly number, and one-off packs cover a month that runs long. Current terms are on the pricing page.

How a search is priced

  • One price a search - 100 credits for a search in plain English, however much work the answer takes. You are buying the shortlist, not the steps behind it.
  • A filtered search is cheaper - 10 credits a page, whatever the page size, because you wrote the filters and no model runs.
  • A search that finds nobody is free - a run that fails without returning anyone is refunded in full, and another page of a search you have already paid for costs at most 24.
  • Every charge is visible - each query is logged in your credit ledger with the conversation it came from.

The free tier

  • 500 credits at signup. No card required.
  • Refilled to 250 on the 1st of each month (UTC) whenever the balance is below that floor. The refill tops up to the floor; it doesn’t stack on top of an existing balance.
  • Up to 3 free 500-credit packs per week, self-granted instantly from Settings, on a rolling 7-day window.

No overdrafts

Credits are reserved before a search starts. If the balance is too low, the search doesn’t run - an account can never go negative mid-search.
