Every plan refills your balance to its number at the start of each billing period, and every feature is on every plan, including the free one.
How credits work
You pay for what the search used.
A quick lookup costs a credit. A run that reads twenty sources costs what it read. Nothing is priced per seat.
A filtered search
Thirteen fields, exact matches, straight out of the index. A page is a page whatever its size, and the price is the same from the app, the API, or your assistant.
A plain-English search
One price, whatever the run has to do to answer it: plan the search, read the sources, cross-reference them, rank what came back. A search that finds nobody costs nothing.
A deep research run
Multi-step, many sources, cross-referenced as it goes. You watch the cost accrue while it runs, and it is logged after.
Every charge is logged in your credit ledger with the conversation it came from, and the job seeker side is not metered at all.
Top-ups, for a month that runs long
Buy a top-upBought outright, and unlike the monthly allowance they stay on your balance until you spend them. A plan is still the cheaper way to buy credits you know you will use.
Questions
Everything else about the bill.
Is the free tier really free?
Yes, and it is not a trial. 500 credits when you sign up, then your balance refills to 250 on the 1st of every month for as long as your account is open. No card, no clock, and no feature held back. A card is only needed if you pick a paid plan or buy a top-up.
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits do not. A refill tops your balance up to your plan's number rather than adding to it, so an unused month does not double the next one. Credits you buy as a top-up are different: those are bought outright, they sit on top of the allowance, and they stay until you spend them.
What if I run out mid-search?
You cannot. Every run takes its credits up front and will not start below the price, so your account is never overdrafted and no search stops half way.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
You keep every credit already on your balance and stop refilling at the plan rate. The account drops back to the free tier at the end of the period you have paid for, and the free monthly refill picks up from there.
Does the API cost extra?
No. There is no separate API plan and no per-seat pricing: a key spends the same balance the app does, at the same rates, and the MCP server is the same meter again. A filtered search is 10 credits, a plain-English search is 100, and reading your balance is free. The rates and the refund rules are in the API documentation at /developers.
Is the job seeker side charged too?
No. Nothing a job seeker asks for costs a credit: reading a resume, researching you, writing or tailoring a resume, scoring a match. The only cap is on applications actually sent, at 25 a week, and that is free as well. Credits only ever pay for search.
Do you have a team or enterprise plan?
Not as a self-serve tier. If you are running heavy volume or want centralized billing for a team, email hello@refolk.ai and I will price something that fits.
Will pricing change?
Material changes are posted here with notice. Credits already on your balance are honored at their current value.
One search settles it.
500 credits are on your account before you have decided anything. No card, no trial clock.
