Tracking applications

Everything you have queued, tailored, and sent lives on one screen, grouped by where it is. It is the spreadsheet you would have stopped updating in week two.

Adding jobs

Paste a stack of links at once and they all queue. A line like “Company - Role” works when you do not have a URL, and you can paste the job description in later. Anything selected on the matches screen lands in the same queue.

The statuses

  • Queued - added, not yet tailored.
  • Tailoring - being worked on right now.
  • Ready to send - resume, letter, and score are done and waiting on you.
  • Submitted - you sent it. The date is kept so a quiet application can be surfaced later.
  • Interviewing, Offer, Rejected, Withdrawn - how it ended, or where it is.

Tailoring in batches

Queue as many as you like and tailor them in one go; the work runs in fixed batches so nothing times out halfway. Nothing is metered, so the size of a batch is only a question of how long you want to watch it.

Re-tailoring

Pasting a job description into an application you already tailored lets you re-run the pass against the real posting text. That replaces the previous version, costs nothing, and is almost always worth it when the first pass had nothing but a title to work from.
