The weekly email
One email a week, on Monday, and only when there is something in it worth acting on. A digest that arrives every week saying “no new matches” teaches people to filter it, and then the week it matters they never see it.
What is in it
- New openings from the job feed that rank strongly against your profile and that you have not seen yet.
- Work sitting finished - applications tailored and waiting on you to actually send them.
- Applications gone quiet - submissions old enough that a follow-up is reasonable.
When nothing is sent
No strong matches, nothing waiting, nothing stale: no email. A profile too thin to rank against also produces no email, because the matches in it would be guesswork.
Turning it off
Every send carries an unsubscribe link, and it applies to this stream alone. Turning off the weekly email changes nothing else about the account.
