How applying works

1. One profile#

You hand over a resume file, a few public links, or nothing at all and type it yourself. It comes back as a structured profile: roles, dates, achievements, education, projects, skills. You edit anything that reads wrong before it is used. Details in Building your profile.

2. One master resume#

From that profile I write a resume: every bullet leads with the outcome, and nothing appears that your history does not support. This is the base every tailored version starts from, and you can keep several of them if you are applying for more than one kind of job. See Resumes and versions.

3. Queue the jobs#

Paste a stack of links, or pick from the ranked feed of live openings on the matches screen. Either way the jobs land in one queue. A line like “Company - Role” works too when you do not have a link.

4. I tailor each one#

For each posting I read the job description, reorder and rewrite your bullets against it, draft a cover letter that could only have been written for that company, and score the fit from 0 to 100 with a note on the strongest overlap and the clearest gap. 5. It gets sent#

Three ways, and the choice is yours every time. Press Apply for me on an application and I open the employer’s form and fill it in: your details, your answers, the tailored resume, the letter. Switch sending on in the daily run and that happens unattended, a few hours after the drafts are written, so anything you pull from the queue in the morning is gone before it would have been sent. Or copy the resume and letter into the form yourself and mark it submitted. The pipeline tracks it from there either way.

Sending stops rather than guesses. A question you have never answered, a board that puts account creation in front of its form, a CAPTCHA or a login wall, or a submit whose outcome could not be read: each of those hands the posting back to you with the link and says which it was. A duplicate application is worse than a late one, so an attempt that may already have gone through is never driven a second time.
