About this role
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join our growing team at Cyberhaven. In this role, you will drive go-to-market initiatives by leading prospect engagements, including demos and proofs of concept. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team that is always ready to assist one another. We serve as advisors in data protection, addressing the challenges organizations encounter. Our team thrives on tinkering, building, and developing solutions for emerging challenges. We are experts in industry advancements, competitive threats, and adjacent market technologies.
What you’ll do
Support the Enterprise Sales teams with opportunities in a pre-sales capacity from qualification through production hand-off. Generally, these accounts have more than 2,500 employees.
Learn, create, and deliver compelling messaging and demonstrations of products and solutions that differentiate from competitors or legacy solutions, including how the platform secures data and AI use across the enterprise.
Demonstrate multiple products within the platform in a single narrative, showing how they work together to solve complex business problems.
Guide technical evaluations via POC ownership and manage the evaluation process to a successful conclusion.
Advise customers on securing AI adoption, including emerging agentic AI use cases, and translate their risks into clear technical and business outcomes.
Maintain key partner technical relationships and effectively enable and demonstrate channel partners to excel in a channel-driven sales model.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams on new feature releases and provide feedback on current feature capabilities based on field experience/input.
Who you are
4+ years experience as a Sales Engineer (or similar), i.e. complex pre-sales and/or deployment of complex enterprise solutions, especially in a SaaS sales environment
4+ years experience with data protection and AI security solutions (DLP, IRM, DSPM, CASB, AI-Security)
Proven ability to demo and run POCs across multiple products within a single platform, tying them together to solve complex, cross-functional business problems
Current knowledge of Agentic AI architecture (e.g., agents, tool use, MCP, autonomous workflows) and how to secure it
4+ years experience with a cross-platform endpoint agent solution (Windows, Mac, and/or Linux)
Ability to travel to cover events and conferences
Strong sales presence and superior communication skills
Proven ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
Ability to problem-solve, both independently and as part of a team
Must be located in the following states to support our customers. (Illinois, Wisconsin, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Luisiana, Arkansas)
Joining Cyberhaven means joining the team building Data Security for the Agentic Enterprise. Traditional tools fall short. Cyberhaven traces the full lifecycle of your data, adapting protection to changing context, so protection moves with the way people actually work, not against it. AI Changed Work. We Protect It.
Backed by $250M from leading investors like Khosla and Redpoint, our team includes leaders who built industry-defining technologies at CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Meta, Google, and more. This role lets you shape the future of data security, working alongside people driven to protect workflows, not just data, for customers who cannot afford to slow down to stay safe.
AI Tools Disclosure: As part of Cyberhaven's hiring process, we use recruiting tools that include AI-powered features to help with tasks like scheduling, note-taking, workflow automation, and other recruiting activities ("AI Tools"). The AI Tools may process information you provide during the application and interview process. When AI-assisted interview note taking is used, candidates are notified in advance and have the option to opt out of the AI-assisted interview note taking.

About Cyberhaven
Cyberhaven makes data security smarter, faster, and easier by: - Understanding data flows: Know where data came from, how it was used, and who interacted with it - automatically with data lineage. - Aligning protection with purpose: Allow workflows that make sense. Block only those that indicate actual risk. - Empowering people, not punishing them: Educate in the moment, elevate awareness, and intercept risky actions without hurting productivity. - Reducing noise for security teams: Focus on the incidents that matter, not thousands of false alarms. - Resolving incidents faster: Rapidly understand critical issues, get concise overviews, receive actionable remediations, and access comprehensive evidence for thorough investigations. - Simplifying management: Use one solution to manage policies, prevent data loss, and identify insider risk. This is not another clunky, overcomplicated set of rules. This is Reimagined DLP and Insider Threat: Data security that powers innovation.
