About the Role

Join Cyberhaven’s growing Professional & Managed Services team as the Manager of our Americas Data Protection Analyst team. You’ll lead, scale, and develop a team of analysts who investigate insider-threat signals and endpoint forensics, analyze data-security incidents, surface risk across customer environments, and deliver incident-response documentation and project work. You’ll set the standard for how our customers operationalize Cyberhaven’s Data Detection & Response platform to reduce data loss. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with deep data protection expertise and a client-first mindset, who can build a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and partner closely with customer security and operations teams. This role reports to the Director of Professional Services.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Protection Analysts in the Americas, setting clear goals, giving regular feedback, and building career paths

  • Recruit, hire, and onboard analysts, and build the team structure, processes, and capacity plans needed to scale with customer growth

  • Own the quality, consistency, and timeliness of the team’s work across customer engagements, including incident analysis, policy and dataset tuning, forensic investigations, and executive reporting

  • Establish and maintain playbooks, templates, and best practices for incident investigation, noise and false-positive reduction, and incident-response workflows

  • Define and track team KPIs (such as response times, customer satisfaction, and risk-reduction outcomes) and report on them to leadership

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex investigations and a trusted advisor to customer security leaders (CISOs, SOC managers, and insider risk teams)

  • Partner with clients to develop incident response workflows that map to their security objectives and policies, and guide the team as customers’ data risk strategies mature

  • Present formal summaries, trend analyses, and realized-value readouts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives

  • Stay current on external DLP, Insider Risk, and CASB market trends, and use those insights to shape team strategy and demonstrate customer value

  • Collaborate with Cyberhaven’s Product and Development teams to relay customer and analyst feedback, drive requirements, and develop innovative strategies for monitoring and preventing data loss

  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent customer experiences

  • Work with Service leaders in other regions to align methodologies, share learnings, and operate as one global team

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience working with data protection products, including 2+ years leading or managing technical teams (security analysts, consultants, or managed services)

  • Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing technical talent, and of scaling a team through growth

  • Deep expertise in DLP, Insider Threat, and CASB solutions, with familiarity with SIEM/SOAR integrations (including those adjacent to Cyberhaven)

  • Experience advising on security issues affecting data protection and insider risk, both accidental and malicious

  • Strong understanding of endpoint protection best practices and of macOS, Linux, and Windows environments

  • Knowledge of security controls for handling sensitive data types

  • Experience overseeing technical analysis and the documentation and project management aspects of incident response for data security issues

  • Familiarity with cloud apps and services; passion for cloud technologies

  • Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Codex and building and developing agents

  • Experience operating in a SaaS, services, or managed-services delivery model, including managing priorities across multiple customers

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with both creative and logical thinking

  • Customer-centric, highly motivated, with strong empathy and focus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to create and deliver management-level presentations and analysis on incident investigations

  • Effective collaborator in a global, cross-functional team

About Cyberhaven

Cyberhaven makes data security smarter, faster, and easier by: - Understanding data flows: Know where data came from, how it was used, and who interacted with it - automatically with data lineage. - Aligning protection with purpose: Allow workflows that make sense. Block only those that indicate actual risk. - Empowering people, not punishing them: Educate in the moment, elevate awareness, and intercept risky actions without hurting productivity. - Reducing noise for security teams: Focus on the incidents that matter, not thousands of false alarms. - Resolving incidents faster: Rapidly understand critical issues, get concise overviews, receive actionable remediations, and access comprehensive evidence for thorough investigations. - Simplifying management: Use one solution to manage policies, prevent data loss, and identify insider risk. This is not another clunky, overcomplicated set of rules. This is Reimagined DLP and Insider Threat: Data security that powers innovation.
