About this role

Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics

At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.

We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.

What to Expect

We're looking for our first Product Operations hire to own all product-related logistics for beta deployments, evaluation set build-outs, and everything in between. This role sits at the intersection of design, ML, product, hardware, and operations.

Because we're building a physical product, our physical operations need to scale directly with demand. As we move into beta and beyond, you'll be the person who makes sure robots, data, and demos get where they need to be - on time and in working order. This role is especially important as we ramp our upcoming beta: you'll define how Sunday deploys, services, and learns from robots in the real world.

What You'll Do

  • Build out physical environments: Set up physical spaces for our in-house Memo developers to collect diverse data, and construct investor demo sets and evaluation sets for the ML team.

  • Ship robots on time: Work closely with product, manufacturing, and hardware teams to keep production and deployment on schedule.

  • Own deployment end to end: Handle the delivery, installation, and servicing of deployed robots from start to finish.

  • Manage vendors and budgets: Source and negotiate with vendors, manage operational budgets, and keep costs and timelines under control.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in operations, ideally within the hardware space

  • Experience with negotiations, budgeting, and operations

  • A track record of collaborating closely with product and operations teams to deliver on tight timelines

  • Comfort working in early-stage product environments where requirements evolve quickly

  • A bias toward agentic, self-directed work - you don't wait to be told what to do

Nice to Have

  • Experience standing up operations for a physical product at an early-stage company (0→1)

  • Experience coordinating deployments or field servicing for hardware

  • Familiarity with data collection or evaluation workflows for ML

  • Strong interest in robotics or smart home products and systems

What You're Not

  • Someone who prefers well-defined processes over building them from scratch

  • Looking for a role where requirements are fully scoped before work begins

  • Most effective when working in a narrow operational lane rather than owning logistics end to end

At Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people - curious, creative, and diverse. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back unless they meet 100% of the criteria - we don’t want that to be the reason we miss out on great talent.
