Snowflake is seeking a Director, Technical Revenue Accounting to lead the company’s technical revenue accounting function and serve as the trusted advisor on complex accounting matters across the business. This strategic leadership role partners closely with Product, Legal,Deal Desk, Finance and Go-to-Market teams to enable new business models, structure customer agreements, and ensure compliance with ASC606 and other applicable accounting standards. The ideal candidate combines deep technical accounting expertise with strong operational acumen, enabling them to translate complex accounting guidance into scalable policies, processes and systems while partnering effectively with cross-functionally stakeholders. AS THE DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL REVENUE ACCOUNTING YOU WILL: - Serve as the company's technical accounting authority for complex revenue transactions, providing accounting guidance that supports new products, strategic partnerships, and evolving commercial models. - Review and assess complex customer contracts, including SaaS, professional services, managed services, multi-element arrangements, consumption-based pricing, and strategic partnerships. - Partner closely with Legal, Deal Desk and Sales during negotiations for complex, nonstandard deals to translate dense accoun
