You will develop and execute strategies on Riot's products and technologies while leading diverse teams to deliver creative solutions to our most difficult technical and experiential challenges.
As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Organized Play on Publishing Platform, you will combine your deep technical experience with strong product leadership to solve complex problems for your customers. You will manage high-complexity, cross-functional products that power real-time data streaming, tournament ecosystem orchestration, and live broadcast tooling across esports global events to deliver exceptional experiences to millions of players worldwide. You will be accountable for the product lifecycle from start to finish, translating deep customer empathy and technical insight into a clear vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will report to the Sr. Director of Technical Product Management on the team.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for Global Live Operations - safeguarding the 99.9% reliability SLA for core infrastructure during mission-critical windows including Worlds, VCT Champs China, and EWC.

- Lead highly technical, multi-team dependencies including the TFT Unreal engine integration, tournament bracket platform services, authentication scaling for third-party tournaments, Esports Game management tooling to improve transition time in between games broadcast and automation of tournaments for our games
- Develop a deep understanding of customer, partner, and esports ecosystem needs, using research and data to translate pain points and emerging trends into clear product requirements and long-term product strategy.
- Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for esports and community products, including OKRs, build-vs.-buy assessments, milestones, and prioritization of ambiguous technical opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional product execution from conception through delivery and iteration, partnering closely with Engineering and Technical Leads on architecture, scalability, implementation trade-offs, and key stakeholder relationships.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fields such as Technical Product Management, Software/Game Development, or Engineering.
- 7+ years of dedicated product management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical background and problem-solving skills in esports technologies and broadcast operations, and strong depth experience with data management in platform solutions.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead through influence.
- Experience leading teams through the full product development lifecycle (planning, execution, delivery, and post-release support).
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working in med-large size organizations where collaboration across organizational boundaries is critical to success
- Experience working on live service games or other software operating at a global scale.
- Passion for esports, community play events, and Riot’s games
- Familiarity with the game platform lifecycle, including art toolchains, game engines, and live operations workflows.
- Experience taking a nebulous technology concept and turning it into a shipped product with clear KPIs.
- A passion for games and a deep understanding of the player experience.
