About the Role

Controllership team breaks the status quo by facing challenges from the perspective of technological innovation as a tool to automate and make our processes run more efficiently. You’ll be Responsible for

• Professional to operate the Back Office activities, focus on the local operation of a “NUBANK IBM” monitored by “CNBV”.

• Compliance and settlement of market transactions through SPEI-SIAC and other commercial bank portals.

• Compliance with each financial operation, those instructions come from the treasury team.

• Banks funding to keep operating without risks / commercial banks + manage bank accounts.

• Create controls over bank activities and enhance SOX controls.

• Upload and analyze short-term cash flow, ensuring it is updated daily.

• Manage SAP movements regarding bank movements, conciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of industrial engineer, business administrator, economist, accounting or related degrees.

• Minimum 8 years of experience leading the back office or financial operations in banks, regulated fintech entities.

• Fluent in Spanish and English to keep connected the teams of treasury, back office and others in different geos.

• Manage financial operations as: interbank loans, overnight operations, deposit auctions, management of securities, coupons and maturities, derivatives using financial applications and core banking.

• Lead teams to operate and complete the operations mentioned above.

• Knowledge of treasury processes: bank transfers, reconciliations, rate validation, interest calculations, margin calls and balance monitoring.

• Experience in tools of the local market as: BANXICO SIAC system , SAGAPL, INDEVAL, SWIFT.

• Experience in foreign operations and Mexican exchange rate regime.

• Lead new product and features (processes that affects the cash management).

• Regulatory Reports review or preparation for BANXICO and CNBV.
