About this role

Who we are

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet.

Stripe Apps connect Stripe with the tools businesses already use, bringing relevant data and workflows into the Stripe Dashboard and third-party systems. The Strategic Apps team owns a portfolio of integrations with enterprise systems that are critical to our users’ workflows - from quote-to-cash and support to reporting. We help users embed Stripe more deeply into the way they run their businesses.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Staff Product Manager to set the strategy and lead execution for Strategic Apps. You will own a portfolio of existing and new integrations, including those with systems such as Salesforce, and determine where Stripe should invest based on user needs, Stripe’s product and industry priorities, and market signals. You will work across Stripe and directly with external partners to deliver reliable, high-quality integrations that drive adoption and business outcomes.

  • Own the vision, product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for a portfolio of strategic apps, making and communicating clear trade-offs amid significant ambiguity.
  • Identify, prioritize, and validate the highest-value user problems and integration opportunities through direct user research, ecosystem analysis, and quantitative evidence.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Finance, Sales, User Support, Marketing, Partner Management, and other product teams to deliver and evolve integrations end to end.
  • Partner with Engineering to define product requirements, technical approach, and quality standards for integrations, including APIs, documentation, edge cases, reliability, security, compliance, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Establish feedback loops and measurement plans before launch; use product, business, and user metrics to assess efficacy, diagnose changes in performance, and continuously improve adoption, retention, and revenue outcomes.
  • Represent Stripe’s product strategy with strategic technology partners and enterprise users, building productive relationships with product and technical counterparts and incorporating their feedback into roadmap decisions.
  • Drive launches, beta programs, user acceptance testing, and go-to-market readiness in partnership with Marketing, Sales, Partner Management, and Support; ensure teams have the materials and operating model needed to support adoption at scale.
  • Make and drive important cross-functional decisions, align senior stakeholders around a shared strategy, and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly.
  • Balance new feature development with investment in quality, reliability, technical debt, and foundational platform capabilities across the app portfolio.
  • Improve how Stripe builds and operates strategic integrations by turning user, partner, and performance signals into scalable product and process improvements.

Who you are

Minimum requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant product-management, engineering, or equivalent experience, including ownership of a high-quality product or feature area at scale or a major evolution of an existing product.
  • Experience setting product strategy and driving execution across multiple cross-functional teams or a complex product area, from ambiguous problem definition through launch and iteration.
  • Demonstrated ability to use qualitative and quantitative evidence to define success metrics, evaluate product performance, and make prioritization decisions.
  • Strong technical judgment and fluency working with engineers on API-based products, integrations, technical constraints, and product quality.
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise users and external technology partners, and translating their needs into clear product decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and leading through organizational boundaries.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise business systems and workflows, such as CRM, ERP, quote-to-cash, support, or reporting platforms; familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Experience building or scaling platform, ecosystem, marketplace, or partner-integrated products.
  • Experience growing product adoption, usage, or revenue through product-led and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Experience in payments, financial technology, or other regulated technology environments.
  • A degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
