What you’ll do
Responsibilities
- Design industry-leading experiences that reduce the friction for new users onboarding to Stripe.
- Understand Stripe’s product suite, customer needs, and developments in AI/ML that could influence our growth strategy.
- Contribute to work across the entire Growth team, including customer acquisition, conversion, and retention experiences.
- Champion design in growth (and growth in the design organization).
- Apply design priorities and principles to growth projects, and help show how growth work makes progress toward design goals in the user experience.
- Work with engineering and product to design, build, and launch user-facing product experiences.
- Work closely with our partner teams to help support their growth and onboarding needs.
- Partner closely with our user research team and support ongoing research projects.
- Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with design and company leadership.
Who you are
Minimum requirements
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Product Development, or a related field, plus 4 years of experience in Design.
Must also have experience in each of the following: Three years of experience in:
- Growth related domains including onboarding journeys, email marketing, pricing pages, product upsells and cross sells, iterative conversion experiments, and product surfaces;
- Conducting user testing and research, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative data to distill business and user objectives;
- Interpreting user data and metrics, leveraging insights from A/B testing to inform product strategy and design improvements that align with both business and user goals;
- UI, UX, and visual design software including Figma, animation tools After Effects, and ProtoPie; and
- Collaborating with engineers to build and launch software applications, including incorporating design methodologies and engaging in testing and prototyping processes.
2 years of experience in crafting end to end user-focused onboarding journeys and creating compelling product demos, alongside developing solutions for growth-related domains.
Salary: $175,200 - $262,800/yr
This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions/sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.
40 hrs/week
50% Telecommuting permitted.
