About this role

Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

Stripe’s Executive Programs team builds relationships and experiences that connect senior customer leaders with Stripe’s leadership, products, and strategy. We create forums where executives can exchange ideas, explore the forces shaping their businesses, and give Stripe direct, substantive feedback.

Our executive advisory programs are an important part of how Stripe captures the perspectives of executive buyers. The portfolio includes our global Customer Advisory Board as well as regional, segment, and emerging advisory programs. Our goal is to connect these programs into a coherent system that brings the right customer perspectives into Stripe and helps product, marketing, and go-to-market teams act on what we learn.

What you’ll do

As Head of Executive Advisory Programs, you will define and build Stripe’s approach to executive advisory forums. You will own our existing global Customer Advisory Board and create the framework for launching and scaling complementary regional and segment councils. You will also identify and incubate new advisory programs as Stripe’s priorities and customer base evolve.

You will connect program strategy with execution: recruiting influential members, shaping agendas with internal partners, delivering white-glove executive experiences, and building a reliable process for capturing and activating customer feedback. You will work closely with leaders across Product, Product Marketing, Events, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure that Stripe’s advisory programs have clear remits, operate as an interconnected portfolio, and inform relevant product and go-to-market decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Define Stripe’s global executive advisory strategy, including the purpose, audience, operating model, and relationship between global, regional, segment, and emerging programs
  • Own and evolve Stripe’s global Customer Advisory Board, including member strategy and recruitment, executive engagement, agenda development, meeting delivery, and year-round programming
  • Create a repeatable playbook that enables regional and segment teams to build effective advisory councils while maintaining a consistent quality bar and connection to Stripe’s broader program
  • Identify, launch, and incubate new executive advisory programs that address emerging customer needs and Stripe priorities
  • Partner with Product and Product Marketing leaders to select strategic topics, translate customer priorities into productive discussions, and route resulting insights to the teams that can act on them
  • Lead cross-functional planning across Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and external agencies, establishing clear responsibilities and resolving areas of overlapping ownership
  • Define and measure program impact, including member engagement, the quality and activation of feedback, executive relationship development, and evidence that customer insights are informing Stripe’s decisions

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and leading executive advisory boards, councils, or comparable programs for a global business, including setting program strategy and operating the program from recruitment through follow-up
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite and other senior executives and to represent an organization credibly in executive settings
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs and defining clear responsibilities among teams with adjacent or overlapping remits
  • Ability to understand technical products and concepts, identify the implications for customers, and connect executive feedback with product and business priorities
  • Experience designing and delivering high-touch executive events with careful attention to the member experience, content, logistics, and follow-through

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience building a portfolio of interconnected global, regional, or segment-based advisory programs
  • Experience developing systems for synthesizing qualitative customer feedback, routing it to relevant teams, and measuring whether it influenced decisions
  • Experience working with product, marketing, sales, customer success, solutions, and events teams in a global technology organization
  • Familiarity with financial infrastructure, payments, software platforms, or another technically complex industry
