About this role

Who We Are

Roboflow is on a mission to give software the sense of sight.

Our platform makes it easier for developers and organizations to build, deploy, and manage computer vision applications. More than 1 million developers have used Roboflow, and our customers range from startups to some of the largest companies in the world.

As computer vision moves from experimentation into production, we're helping companies deploy visual AI into the physical world - across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, retail, and countless other industries.

We're looking for a Head of Delivery to own and scale how we take our most complex customers from vision to production.

The Opportunity

Our customers come to Roboflow with ambitious problems: automating quality inspection, monitoring infrastructure, understanding physical environments, improving operational workflows, and building entirely new products powered by computer vision.

Getting those applications into production often requires much more than handing a customer software.

Our Delivery organization, including Implementation Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering, works alongside customers to turn those ideas into real, production-ready systems.

We're looking for a leader who can build this function for the next stage of Roboflow's growth.

You'll own the teams, operating model, and customer delivery strategy, while remaining deeply involved in the work yourself. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage delivery from a distance. We expect you to understand our customers' problems, get into the technical details with your team, join critical customer conversations, and help solve the hardest deployments.

You'll be both the architect of the organization and an active participant in the work.

What You'll Do

Lead and scale our Delivery organization. Own our Implementation Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering teams and continue building the organizational structure, roles, processes, and operating cadence required as Roboflow scales.

Get hands-on with our hardest deployments. Work directly with customers and your team on complex implementations. You'll be comfortable jumping into an architecture discussion, helping scope a deployment, troubleshooting an implementation, or joining an executive customer conversation when needed.

Build the playbook. Create repeatable frameworks for scoping, implementation, deployment, escalation, and handoff without forcing every customer into the same model.

Own the path from sale to production. Partner closely with Sales and Solutions Architects before contracts are signed to ensure we're setting customers and our own teams up for successful deployments.

Drive customer outcomes and success. Establish clear definitions of implementation success, time-to-value, deployment health, and customer outcomes, and build the systems needed to measure and improve them.

Make the organization more scalable. Identify where we should solve a problem through people, process, product, documentation, tooling, or automation. The goal isn't simply to add more Delivery headcount as customers grow.

Develop exceptional technical talent. Hire, coach, and develop Implementation Engineers and Forward Deployed Engineers who combine technical depth with strong customer instincts and high ownership.

Create tight feedback loops with Product and Engineering. Delivery will see some of our customers' hardest technical problems firsthand. You'll ensure those learnings make their way back into our product and influence where we invest.

Partner across GTM. Work closely with Sales, Solutions Architects, Support, and Partnerships to create a seamless customer experience from initial discovery through production deployment and expansion.

Who You Are

  • You've built or led a customer-facing technical delivery, forward deployed engineering, implementation engineering, professional services, or similar organization in a technical software company.

  • You're deeply technical and comfortable working alongside engineers on complex customer problems.

  • You're a hands-on leader. Managing a team doesn't mean stepping away from the work.

  • You've personally worked with customers on complex implementations and understand what it takes to move from a promising proof of concept to a production system.

  • You know how to balance customer-specific needs with the need to build a scalable product and organization.

  • You're an excellent people leader who can attract, develop, and retain highly technical, high-agency talent.

  • You can operate comfortably across technical and business audiences - from engineers working through an architecture problem to executives discussing business outcomes.

  • You have strong judgment around prioritization and resource allocation, particularly when multiple important customers need support at the same time.

  • You thrive in environments where the playbook is still being written.

We'd Be Especially Excited If

  • You've built a Delivery or Forward Deployed Engineering function from an earlier stage.

  • You've worked in developer tools, infrastructure, AI/ML, data platforms, robotics, computer vision, or another deeply technical product environment.

  • You've supported deployments involving both software and the physical world.

  • You have experience working with enterprise customers on complex, multi-stakeholder deployments.

  • You've built systems that meaningfully improved time-to-value or made a services-heavy motion more repeatable and scalable.

  • You’ve owned the entire customer success process.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you've built a clear operating model across Implementation Engineering and Forward Deployed Engineering, created stronger consistency in how we scope and execute customer deployments, and developed a team capable of supporting increasingly complex customers.

Our largest customers are getting to production faster and with greater predictability. Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery have clear feedback loops and ownership boundaries.

And as the organization has grown, you've remained close enough to the work that when an important customer hits a difficult technical problem, you're someone the team wants in the room.

Why Roboflow

Computer vision is moving from research and experimentation into the real world.

The companies that successfully deploy it won't just need great models. They'll need to integrate visual AI into existing systems, hardware, workflows, and physical environments.

Delivery sits directly at that intersection.

You'll have the opportunity to build the organization that helps some of the world's most ambitious companies turn computer vision from an idea into something running in production - while helping Roboflow learn how to make that process dramatically easier for every customer that follows.
