About this role

Riot Games was established in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. In 2009, Riot released its debut title League of Legends to critical and player acclaim. As the most played video game in the world, over 100 million play every month. Players form the foundation of our community and it’s for them that we continue to evolve and improve the League of Legends experience.

We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favor. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. We embrace those who see things differently, aren’t afraid to experiment, and who have a healthy disregard for constraints.

That's where you come in.

The Riot Commercial Partnerships (RCP) team is responsible for identifying, building, and executing world-class partnerships with leading global and regional brands. Our mission is to drive revenue through strategic commercial collaborations that bring meaningful value to Riot’s fans - across Games, Entertainment, Esports, and Social Impact. For every product and event Riot creates, our premier partners help elevate the experience for millions of players and live audiences.

As an APAC Esports Partnership Manager, you will be a vital member of the APAC RCP team, helping drive the processes and procedures utilized to deliver for media rights partners and sponsors. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of media rights partnership/sponsorship management, including licensing and contract management, broadcast and technical operations, partnership activation and integration, and data analytics and strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead alignment across internal cross-functional teams and external partners through proactive communication to drive collaborative success.
  • Design and execute end-to-end operational workflows to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery of value to partners.
  • Develop and execute win-win strategies and actionable plans that deliver value to media partners and sponsors through esports services, while driving long-term fan satisfaction.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of data to evaluate partnership performance and develop long-term strategies to maximize the value of Riot Esports partnerships.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, account management or consulting
  • Self-starter with the eagerness and ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines and work independently/collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical skills and background, with demonstrated ability to use data to power decision making.
  • Fluency in Korean and a professional working proficiency in English.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of and empathy for gaming and esports fans, with the ability to view products and services through a fan-centric lens.
  • Experience working within the esports, traditional sports, entertainment, or media agency industries.
  • Familiarity with media rights, broadcast production operations, or digital streaming platforms.
