Social Media Intern

We are looking for a Social Media Intern to work directly with our team on content and creator partnerships. You will help shape how FlixBus shows up on Instagram, and learn everything our team knows along the way. We take the work seriously, not ourselves, so expect a good mix of work and fun.

About the Role

• Brainstorm content ideas and turn them into posts and reels people actually want to watch.
• Shoot video content on an iPhone and edit reels (on phone apps or laptop), plus simple Canva graphics.
• Spot upcoming creators, especially in travel, and suggest who we should collaborate with
• Liaise with our agency partners to keep creator collaborations running smoothly.
• Keep our social media calendar organised and up to date.
• Explore how AI can help us build faster workflows, while keeping our content original.

About You

• Experience filming clean footage on an iPhone, with basic video editing and Canva skills
• A good feel for Instagram: current trends, what goes viral and what works on the platform
• A love of travel (even if only through reels)
• Curiosity about AI as a tool for faster workflows. We use AI to assist us, not to replace our own thinking, so no AI slop
• Enthusiasm and a collaborative attitude
