About this role

At LUXCLUSIF, we are dedicated to redefining the luxury paradigm by offering premium pre-owned fashion to a global audience. As a pioneer in the global luxury resale market, we utilize advanced data-driven solutions to facilitate the buying and selling of high-end pre-owned items. With operations spread across the globe and strategic warehouses in key locations, we ensure a seamless supply of luxury goods. Our comprehensive services cover everything from item curation, quality control, operations, logistics to technology integrations and sales, delivering an unmatched resale experience for brands, retailers, and individual customers alike. We are part of the FARFETCH Group.

The Role:

As Category Manager, you will lead the strategic expansion and commercial performance of Luxclusif’s core and emerging pre-owned categories: Bags, Jewellery, and Watches.

Working within our e-concessions department, you will own the category strategy end-to-end, defining curation rules, price-positioning models, inventory management, and revenue growth across global supply streams.

  • Inventory & Assortment Health: Oversee global inventory health, time-to-sell (TTS), sell-through rates (STR) to identify trends and opportunities to grow sales

2. Commercial Strategy

  • Pricing & Profitability Architecture: Collaborate with Tech and Sales teams on automated market intelligence and pricing tools to establish competitive price benchmarks, pricing multipliers, and minimum margin/profit thresholds.
  • Market Benchmarking & Conversion Optimization: Monitor resale market trends, competitor pricing, and demand signals across key global regions (Europe, US, Asia-Pacific/Japan) to maximize conversion and B2B trade throughput.
  • Commercial Alignment: Balance volume and value mix across categories to meet market demand

3. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration

  • Supplier Account Management & Sales Alignment: Partner closely with Supplier Account Managers and the Sales team to share data-driven category insights (bestsellers, demand signals, market trends) and equip teams with category narratives for supplier business reviews and sales channel growth.
  • Tech & Product Enhancements: Collaborate with Tech and Product teams to drive automated market intelligence, pricing algorithms, product mapping, and catalog data enrichment.
  • Operations & Logistics Governance: Work alongside Operations teams to ensure efficient workflows, quality standards, and smooth handling for category-specific operational needs.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Merchandise Planning, Commercial Analytics, or Strategic Buying within retail, e-commerce, or luxury (resale experience is a plus).
  • Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical capabilities; able to interpret performance dashboards across key metrics like sales, sell-through rates (STR), time-to-sell (TTS), margins and inventory levels
  • Tool & Software Efficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office/ Google Workspace, namely Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI dashboards; familiar with leveraging AI tools (e.g., Gemini, NotebookLM) to accelerate research, commercial analysis and reports
  • Commercial Drive: Strong business acumen with a focus on commercial metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Language Fluency: Fluent in English (written and spoken - mandatory) .
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Proven ability to work cross-functionally across internal teams (Tech, Operations, Sales), strong communication and presentation skills used to deliver compelling narratives and boost influence

  • Industry and Category Interest:Passion for luxury fashion and resale; prior experience in luxury/fashion categories is beneficial but secondary to analytical and commercial capabilities.
