The Dream Job

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on researcher to shape how our sovereign AI systems retrieve information and act in complex environments.

You’ll research and develop agentic capabilities, from orchestrating models and tools to enabling deep research, retrieval, and information enrichment. This means understanding the whole system: how its components interact, where they fail, and how to improve their combined performance under real-world security, compute, and deployment constraints.

The Dream-Maker Responsibilities

• Shape agentic system design; develop orchestration, planning, and tool-use methods that turn complex requests into reliable workflows.
• Push the frontier of agentic AI and NLP: deep research, retrieval, and information extraction and enrichment, improved through execution traces, user feedback, and fine-tuning.
• Build benchmarks, simulators, and evaluation suites that combine annotation workflows and adversarial testing to expose failure modes and measure real progress.
• Own the problem end to end - definition, data, experimentation, and validation - and partner with engineering through deployment.
• Raise risks early, challenge ideas with respect, take on the hardest problems, and mentor fellow researchers.

The Dream Skill Set

• 8+ years of hands-on AI/ML, owning multiple projects from problem definition to real-world use. We value relevant experience from industry and military R&D.
• Deep generative AI and NLP expertise, with experience developing agentic or complex ML systems at scale.
• MSc or PhD in a relevant field, or equivalent research accomplishments.
• Strong Python and PyTorch or JAX skills, with experience building data, training, and evaluation pipelines.
• Systems judgment: connect model, tool, and workflow behavior to overall performance and make sound technical trade-offs.
• Independent ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and rigorous, reproducible evaluation within security and compliance constraints. Simulator design is a plus.
