Summary

This is a 6-month leave-coverage role, fully remote from anywhere in the US. You’ll be a hands-on Senior Accountant on our Controllership team, reporting to Director of Accounting and owning several key accounting functions, including fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, commissions, reconciliations, month-end close, and budgeting support, while ensuring accurate financial data and maintaining proper internal controls.
Because the role runs for 6 months, you’ll pick up an established close and run it with little ramp time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex accounting and operational challenges, driving process improvements, and contributing beyond traditional accounting responsibilities.

Focus Areas

• Performing full-cycle month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Handle end to end AR process from invoice to payment, proactively manage collections and escalations, and ensure timely sales tax filings
• Responsible for cash reconciliation, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, and US tax filings
• Assist with commission calculation, accruals, capitalization, and payments
• Assist with intercompany accounting, multi-entity transactions, and financial reporting
• Provide audit support during annual audit and other audit inquiries
• Continuously improve finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities, incorporating automation and AI-driven insights where appropriate

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other comparable fields
• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting within public accounting or a multinational SaaS company setting
• Experience with US GAAP, including GL accounting, accruals, prepaids, and internal controls
• Experience with external audits
• Must have Netsuite experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Coupa, Expensify, Captivate IQ, and Harbor Compliance software
• Sales commissions accounting under ASC 340-40, including capitalization and amortization
• Intercompany accounting in a multi-entity company

Market competitive compensation with an anticipated hourly compensation range of $63.94 - $73.53. Actual compensation will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
