The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join Belong and become a key member of our Finance team during a period of rapid growth and scale.You will help build the financial foundation that allows the company to grow with clarity and confidence. You’ll work closely with the Controller and Finance leadership to ensure accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence.This role is for someone who cares deeply about details, enjoys structure, and wants their work to directly support the growth of a meaningful company.

What You’ll Do
Accounting & Close
Prepare journal entriesPerform monthly balance-sheet reconciliationsAssist with monthly close and financial statements

Reporting & Accuracy
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of recordsSupport financial reporting for internal stakeholders

Audits
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit execution

Budgeting & Analysis
Track performance against budgetsIdentify trends, discrepancies, and risksSupport financial planning discussions

Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other teamsBuild strong working relationships across departments

Operations & Improvement
Support automation and process optimization initiativesContribute to a high-trust, high-accountability finance culture

Experience & Qualifications
1+ years of accounting experience (startup or tech is a plus)Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldStrong Excel and Google Sheets skillsExperience with accounting or finance systemsComfortable working in a fast-moving environment
