About the Role:

When a GP raises a fund on AngelList, LPs trust the platform as much as they trust the GP. LP Relations is the team behind that trust: the front line for more than 100,000 investors, especially in the moments that are hardest to get right. It comes down to the details, like clear communication, accurate reporting, document management, correct money movement, and capable support when questions come up.

This is a customer-facing role. You'll own day-to-day communications with the investors in the funds we administer, represent AngelList, and work across legal, tax, banking, sales, and product to resolve issues and deliver best-in-class service. You'll handle high volume with accuracy and care, notice when something is urgent, sensitive, or outside your scope, and escalate with clear context so the right people can jump in. Every one of those conversations teaches you something about how capital moves through a fund and how our platform handles it.

We expect you to grind and we expect you to think. The strongest people on this team notice the patterns behind recurring issues and fix the system. You will surface what's broken, form a point of view on how it should work, and help turn that into better workflows, automations, and projects that make the experience better for every LP. The path from specialist to associate is built by people who use that foundation to develop real judgment about our investors, our product, and how to solve problems that don't come with a playbook.

Responsibilities:

• Be the first line for LP questions on fund economics, capital calls, wire and banking issues, distributions, subscription documents, K-1/tax questions, and fund reporting
• Be the expert on our investor platform and funds, especially the cases that don't fit the standard path
• Maintain response and service quality across high volume
• Flag urgent or sensitive issues, escalate with clear documentation and context, and work with partners across legal, tax, banking, sales, and product to get issues resolved, not just passed along
• Identify recurring investor issues and edge cases, translate them into clear product feedback, and increasingly use AI and coding tools to prototype or ship fixes yourself
• Turn repetitive work into workflows and automations that help the team scale
• Support relationship management with key customers

What We're Looking For:

• 0 - 1+ years of experience, ideally in a customer-facing role with operational responsibilities, and a desire for real responsibility and agency from day one
• You write clearly and adapt tone based on audience: an institutional LP and a first-time angel investor need different things from the same email
• You are clear and calm under pressure: high volume, delayed wires, frustrated investors, busy seasons. You don't lose quality when the queue spikes or patience when someone is upset
• You use AI tools to make yourself and your team more effective
• You take initiative and work well on a team: you solve problems without waiting for permission, ask good questions instead of guessing, and pull for the people around you
• You're curious about venture, private markets, and the mechanics of how capital moves

Compensation:
The compensation for this role consists of a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity package. The base salary for this role starts at $100,000 annually, and actual compensation will vary based on a number of factors including a candidate's professional background and experience.
