About The Role & Team

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join Amplitude’s Content Marketing team and develop content programs that connect Amplitude’s expertise and product stories to audience needs, building awareness, earning trust, and supporting demand. You’ll create content across formats and channels, helping audiences understand how AI and analytics can help them build better digital products. Working closely with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, Social Media, and subject-matter experts, you’ll develop compelling stories and bring a clear, distinctive point of view to our content. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys finding the story, shaping the content, bringing it to the right audience, and learning from the results.

As a Content Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Own content from idea to publication: Develop and execute content programs across blog posts, thought leadership, customer stories, guides, and social content. Manage projects through research, writing, editing, approvals, and publication.

  • Turn complex ideas into compelling stories: Partner with teams across Marketing and beyond, as well as subject-matter experts to translate topics around AI, analytics, and product development into useful, credible content tailored to our audiences.

  • Build Amplitude’s point of view: Identify audience questions, emerging trends, and opportunities for original storytelling. Support executive and expert thought leadership by developing content that reflects their perspectives and voices.

  • Build content programs that drive results: Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Growth Marketing and Social Media to plan content around audience needs and campaign goals. Own projects from brief through publication and activation, working with channel owners to reach the right audiences. Use engagement, conversion, and contribution to business goals to guide what comes next.

  • Craft content for how people discover ideas today: Bring curiosity about emerging formats, creator-led media, and industry communities. Develop stories with a strong angle that can travel beyond the blog, adapting ideas for newsletters, video, social, and collaborative content in partnership with the people who own those channels.

You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • You have strong editorial instincts and can find a compelling story within a technical topic, customer conversation, or set of data.

  • You’re curious about AI, analytics, and how digital products are built, and you enjoy learning enough about a topic to write with clarity and substance.

  • You think beyond publication, considering who the content serves, how they’ll find it, and what they should take away.

  • You’re comfortable interviewing executives, customers, and subject-matter experts, and turning their insights into content that preserves their voice and expertise.

  • You use AI to accelerate research, ideation, and production while maintaining a high bar for originality, accuracy, and editorial quality.

At a minimum, you need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, communications, or a related field, including experience creating content for B2B technology or SaaS audiences.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to make complex topics clear, engaging, and relevant.

  • Experience managing content projects from initial idea through publication, including coordinating stakeholders, feedback, and deadlines.

  • A working understanding of SEO, content discovery, and distribution, including how to adapt content across web, email, and social channels.

  • Experience using content performance data to evaluate results, identify opportunities, and inform editorial decisions.
