About the Role

Our Content team creates the scenarios, units, and entities that make up Atom Engine exercises. You will own the vision for what that content should deliver and how it gets built.

This is a senior individual contributor role that brings product leadership to Content. You will translate user needs and company priorities into a clear strategy, roadmap, and requirements, giving our content specialists the direction they need to execute effectively. Your accountability spans both the quality and usefulness of our content and the process through which we create, maintain, and improve it.

About You

You’re a product thinker who can bring structure and direction to a complex domain. You understand how to move from user needs to a clear vision, make thoughtful tradeoffs, and turn that vision into actionable priorities.

You combine systems thinking with attention to detail. You can understand how scenarios, units, and entities work together to support an exercise, while also seeing how individual content decisions affect the broader experience.

Intellectual honesty, curiosity, and empathy shape how you work. You seek out the expertise of users and content specialists, uncover requirements that aren’t immediately obvious, and make decisions that help the team move forward. You’re comfortable setting direction amid ambiguity and taking accountability for outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Content vision and roadmap. Define how AE content should evolve to meet user needs and support Onebrief’s broader product direction.

• Turn needs into clear priorities. Work with users and internal stakeholders to identify content gaps, define requirements, and decide what the team should build next - and why.

• Own the Content process. Partner with the team to improve how content is requested, scoped, created, validated, maintained, and reused. Identify bottlenecks and prioritize improvements to workflows and supporting tools.

• Define successful outputs. Establish clear expectations for the accuracy, consistency, usability, and fitness for purpose of scenarios, units, and entities.

• Enable focused execution. Resolve ambiguity, manage competing requests, and make timely scope and priority decisions so content specialists can concentrate on delivery.

• Connect Content with the broader product. Work across product, engineering, design, and domain experts to align content needs with product capabilities and dependencies.

• Measure and improve outcomes. Use exercise feedback, user research, and production data to assess content effectiveness and guide improvements to both the content and the process.

What We Look For

• Experience owning strategy and execution for a complex product, content portfolio, or production workflow.

• Strong product judgment, including the ability to prioritize competing needs and translate broad goals into actionable requirements.

• A deep understanding of simulation technologies and workflows, with an appreciation for how content quality shapes the user experience.

• A systems-oriented approach to improving processes, balancing quality, speed, maintainability, and scale.

• Clear, concise communication and the ability to build alignment across technical teams, domain experts, and senior leadership.

• A collaborative, pragmatic approach, with respect for specialist expertise and the confidence to make decisions.

• Comfort working autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and taking accountability for results.

• An understanding of, or strong interest in, the military and defense technology space.

• U.S. citizenship.
