About this role
About the Team
At Miro, design is intrinsic in everything we do. As a business we are on a mission to redefine how great work is done, and as a design team we aim to make that as easy and delightful as possible.
We operate in a fast-paced environment and get to have a direct impact on the millions of users who rely on Miro to collaborate and create the next big thing. As a part of our Product Design team, you will contribute to our design process, culture, and experience principles and set new standards for design quality.
About the Role
Miro is looking for a visionary Staff Product Designer to support the design of Miro's Growth team, including adoption and onboarding experiences. This isn't just about refining workflows; it's about defining the future of how millions of people bring their ideas to life.
As a key leader within the Growth stream, you will lead the design evolution of these experiences, you will help Miro users reach value quickly through experiments you can ship and measure. We are looking for an AI Native designer - someone who doesn't just see AI as a feature but as a fundamental shift in the product development process and ultimately, a massive opportunity.
You will be tasked with shaping not just where Miro's offering should be, but where it is going - ensuring we aren't just keeping pace with the market, but setting it.
What you’ll do
Own design across activation, feature discovery, engagement, habit formation, and expansion - not just onboarding.
Identify where in that journey the biggest opportunity sits, and you make the case for pursuing it.
Be a tireless innovator in the AI space. You will explore how generative AI can collapse the gap between a user's first visit and a genuine "aha" moment, personalizing activation and engagement at scale.
Approach the product with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of ownership. You'll navigate ambiguity, build lean experiments, and treat the growth experience as your own startup within Miro.
Leverage your deep understanding of the competitive landscape to create a best-in-class experience that rivals any competitor while maintaining Miro's ease of use across the platform.
Partner with Product and Engineering across the org to solve complex technical- and design challenges around AI quality, discoverability, and the seamless journey from a user's first sign-up to deep, habitual engagement with the infinite canvas.
Set the bar for design excellence at Miro, mentoring other designers and contributing to the evolution of our design systems and internal tooling.
What you’ll need
10+ years of product design experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI-focused roles.
At least 2-3 years operating at a Staff / Principal level, with proven ownership of complex initiatives.
A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create clear, user-focused products and strategies. Demonstrating both the impact on user experience and business goals.
A deep understanding of AI and AI design tooling and the ability to show you're leading the charge.
Proven experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX design, and engineering, to deliver seamless growth solutions.
Deep understanding of UX practices, information architecture, and user-centred design methodologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the value of design and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
A proactive and flexible approach, comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment and managing multiple priorities.
Experience working on growth, lifecycle, or onboarding-focused design tools and experimentation platforms is a massive plus.
What's in it for you
We want you to feel supported, connected, and ready to grow. Our global benefits package generally includes equity, a wellbeing benefit, a WFH equipment allowance, and an annual Learning & Development stipend. Join a diverse team where you can do your best work. Full benefits may differ per location.
