About this role

About the role

We're a fast-growing telehealth company, and we're looking for a QA / Test Engineer to own product quality end to end. You'll test features before they ship, own our release process, and keep our bug backlog under control so the team can move quickly without compromising quality.

This is a hands-on role that goes beyond manual testing. You'll own the path from "code complete" to "safely released" across our web and mobile products.

What you'll do

  • Run end-to-end tests on new features before release across our web and mobile applications.

  • Own the release process: test staging builds, run the final quality gate before ship, and help us move toward faster, more frequent releases.

  • Develop risk-based test plans for critical telehealth workflows, including patient-facing experiences, privacy-sensitive functionality, and high-impact production changes.

  • Perform mobile device testing on Android, including reproducing and verifying device-specific issues.

  • Triage, track, and manage bugs, driving them to closure and keeping the backlog under control.

  • Partner with engineering and product to define test coverage and prioritize issues.

  • Build and maintain automated tests to expand coverage and speed up regression testing.

What we're looking for

  • Solid QA / software testing experience, ideally in a fast-moving product environment.

  • Experience writing and improving test automation and test infrastructure, including using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to build and improve automation.

  • Hands-on Android device testing experience.

  • Comfortable testing web applications end to end.

  • Experience working across dev, staging, and production environments and with release processes.

  • Strong bug tracking, test case management, and triage skills.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the judgment to distinguish release-blocking issues from minor ones.

  • Able to drive quality independently while partnering closely with engineering and product.

Nice to have

  • Healthcare or telehealth experience.

  • Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM).

  • Experience helping a team move toward a continuous release cycle.
