Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

We're a Series A startup building an AI-native platform that connects Enterprises and Hospitality across the entire booking experience, backed by top-tier investors including Lightspeed Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Sierra Ventures, and Bain Capital, and led by a serial entrepreneur with offices in NYC and SF. We help companies turn every dinner, event, and offsite into something effortless to plan and a breeze to manage, plugging right into the tools they already use.

About the Role
We're now building our mobile app for iOS and Android, and we're looking for a senior engineer to build it with us from day one.

You'll own the app end to end: the architecture, the code, the releases and the quality bar. You'll work closely with our product and full-stack engineers across the US and India.

What You'll Do

• Set up the mobile foundations: project structure, navigation, state management, theming and a reusable component library.

• Build core platform features such as authentication, push notifications, deep links, offline support and real-time updates.

• Work with backend engineers to design and consume GraphQL/REST APIs, and contribute to Node.js services when the app needs it.

• Set up mobile CI/CD, automated testing, crash reporting, analytics and over-the-air updates.

• Own App Store and Play Store releases, from submissions and review compliance to versioning and staged rollouts.

• Keep the app fast and stable by watching performance, memory, battery use and app size.

What We're Looking For

• 5 - 8 years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years shipping production mobile apps.

• Strong, hands-on React Native with TypeScript, plus solid React fundamentals.

• At least one app you built or led that is live on both the App Store and Play Store, which you can walk us through.

• Working knowledge of native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) for native modules, build issues and platform-specific behaviour.

• Experience with state management, offline handling, push notifications, deep linking and secure authentication.

• Comfort working across the stack, from consuming APIs to reading and writing Node.js backend code.

• A track record of owning a product end to end as a hands-on engineer.

• Clear written communication for working in a distributed US - India team.

Bonus Points

• Expo (EAS Build, EAS Update) or CodePush for over-the-air releases.

• B2B or enterprise app experience, including SSO and admin roles.

• AWS experience (Cognito, S3, Lambda, AppSync or SNS).

• Mobile testing with Detox, Maestro or Appium.
