As Global Head of Communications, you will be the steward of our reputation, shaping how Xendit is understood by customers, partners, regulators, employees, the media, and the broader technology ecosystem.
This is not a traditional public relations role. It is a strategic leadership position responsible for ensuring that every communication strengthens confidence in who we are, what we build, and why we exist.
You'll help define the company's voice, elevate our leaders, strengthen our culture, guide us through moments of opportunity and challenge, and ensure that our story reflects the scale of our ambition.
Key Responsibilities
Shape Xendit's Global Narrative
- Define and evolve Xendit's corporate narrative as we continue to grow across Southeast Asia and beyond.
- Translate complex technology and financial products into simple, compelling stories.
- Ensure consistency across every audience, market, and communication channel.
- Position Xendit as a trusted leader in financial infrastructure and digital payments.
Protect and Strengthen Our Reputation
- Develop proactive reputation strategies across all stakeholder groups.
- Anticipate communications risks and prepare the organization for high-impact situations.
- Lead crisis communications and issue management with sound judgment and calm execution.
- Build frameworks that help Xendit communicate consistently during periods of rapid growth and change.
Executive & Leadership Communications
- Partner closely with senior leaders to develop keynote speeches, thought leadership, customer presentations, executive messaging, media interviews, internal communications, and company-wide updates.
- Help leaders communicate with authenticity, clarity, and purpose.
Media & Industry Influence
- Develop long-term relationships with business, financial, and technology media across Asia and globally.
- Increase Xendit's visibility through strategic storytelling, industry commentary, customer success stories, research and insights, executive profiles, and speaking opportunities.
Internal Communications & Culture
- Build communication programs that connect employees to our mission and strategy.
- Lead communications around company priorities, business performance, product innovation, organizational updates, leadership messages, values, and culture.
- Ensure every employee understands how their work contributes to Xendit's long-term vision.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Support strategic communications with customers, partners, regulators, government agencies, industry associations, and community organizations.
- Strengthen trust through transparency, consistency, and thoughtful engagement.
Employer Brand
- Partner with People and Talent Acquisition to tell the story of what makes Xendit an exceptional place to build a career.
- Help attract world-class talent by showcasing our mission, people, culture, leadership, career opportunities, and employee success stories.

What We're Looking For
- 12 - 15+ years of experience leading corporate communications, public affairs, executive communications, or reputation management.
- Experience building communications programs within high-growth technology companies, fintech, financial services, or enterprise software organizations.
- Outstanding writer and storyteller with exceptional editorial judgment.
- Proven experience advising senior executives on strategic communications.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, high-profile, or sensitive situations.
- Deep understanding of media and communications across Asia.
- Experience working across multiple countries, cultures, and stakeholder groups.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to simplify complex ideas into compelling narratives.
Preferred
- Experience in fintech, payments, banking, SaaS, or digital infrastructure.
- Existing relationships with leading business, technology, and financial media.
- Experience building and scaling communications teams in fast-growing organizations.
