ABOUT THE TEAM The Finance team is where numbers become decisions. We partner closely with business leaders across the company to make sure Wealthsimple is allocating resources wisely, hitting its targets, and building toward long-term sustainability. Within Finance, the Treasury team is responsible for managing Wealthsimple's capital and liquidity across a growing number of legal entities - working at the intersection of financial risk, regulatory requirements, and business strategy. We're a small, high-trust team embedded in the business, and we hold ourselves to a high bar for both rigour and clarity. ABOUT THE ROLE As Wealthsimple grows, so does the complexity of managing its balance sheet. This is a senior role at the core of that work - owning capital and liquidity management end-to-end, acting as a strategic advisor to leaders across the business, and providing direct support to the Director in leading the team. You'll bring a strong point of view on capital strategy, translate complex financial dynamics into clear recommendations, and help build the frameworks and capabilities the Treasury function needs to scale.
