What You'll Do

  • Build consistent workflows and communication with show teams, including regular check-ins, guest pitches, and planning around tentpole events and key coverage moments.
  • Develop thoughtful guest strategies that align talent opportunities with each show’s audience, voice, and editorial priorities.
  • Support hosts and producers in preparing for guest appearances and help ensure teams have the information and resources they need.
  • Build trusted relationships with hosts across the network and act as a bridge between show teams and senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong external relationships with talent, managers, agents, publicists, PR firms, studios, and networks.
  • Keep internal and external partners informed about new shows, launches, and opportunities across The Ringer network.

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience working with celebrities, creators, managers, publicists, or other partners across the entertainment industry.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of booking high-profile guests and building trusted relationships with talent and their representatives.
  • You are a persuasive and thoughtful communicator who knows how to develop and pitch opportunities to internal and external partners.
  • You use audience insights, performance data, and strong editorial judgment to inform talent and booking decisions.
  • You have experience booking talent for podcasts, digital content, television, film, or related entertainment formats.
  • You have a strong understanding of pop culture and stay curious about emerging talent, conversations, and cultural moments.
  • You bring professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills to sensitive and fast-moving situations.
  • You are comfortable adapting to changing talent needs and traveling when the role requires it.

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in Los Angeles, California.
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3-4 days a week.
