About this role
CompanyRegrello is a 40-person startup reimagining automation in supply chains, in which companies still communicate about $13T of annual shipments almost entirely via email. This is a $220-billion, Amazon-sized market opportunity that’s been largely overlooked for over 20 years. Our team has experience building billion-dollar companies and includes veterans from Oracle, Palantir, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft. Our customers include some of the largest electronics manufacturers in the world, all of which are hungry for us to succeed. Regrello has been funded by Andreessen Horowitz, Tiger Global, Dell, Bloomberg, and Ram Sriram (first investor in Google).
ProductWe are building a global operating network that finally enables supply-chain companies to collaborate within one platform. Our workflow engine empowers non-technical industry experts to model their complex manufacturing and operational processes. Our forms engine enables unprecedented data exchange between companies. And our upcoming AI engine can generate entire new processes and summarize the complex goings-on across thousands of workflows, identifying inefficiencies and driving optimization as companies react to a constantly-shifting global landscape. Quote one user: ”I’ve been waiting for this for 20 years.”
Role SRE@Regrello's customers aren't just internal teams: operating and deploying Regrello are part of the product, and the processes and tools we build are shared with many of our customers. Regrello is seeking a skilled SRE to oversee release management across a growing fleet of SaaS and customer environments. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that Regrello releases are efficient, consistent, and high-quality, enabling us to scale our engineering and product teams to deliver more features. Some of the projects the team is working on include: becoming cloud-neutral by turning all application infrastructure clients into plugins, helping our AI team manage GPU infrastructure to train new foundational models, and applying changes to our architecture to increase reliability.
Culture and CompensationWe are a customer-obsessed, product-driven company that is building a flexible, hybrid/remote culture to enable the brightest minds in the industry. We are particularly interested in candidates based in our hubs of Seattle, San Francisco, and New York, but we will consider candidates who live anywhere in the US, Canada, or Mexico. We have industry-leading compensation packages, including equity and health benefits. We are willing to sponsor US work authorization if needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in site reliability, software engineering, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks.
- Fluency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), kubernetes, feature flags, and modern backend technologies (experience with Go is strongly preferred, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed).
- A builder's spirit (you have a track record of building projects for fun, staying updated with open-source developments, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and communications skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the release process, which manages code and configuration deployments across multiple SaaS and customer cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain release management tools and scripts to reduce toil, increase confidence in changes, and mitigate failures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, Product Management, and Operations, to ensure successful releases.
- Ensure releases are compliant with industry standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to releases, ensuring minimal impact on production.
- Maintain documentation related to release processes, procedures, and timelines.
- Communicate release details and schedules to stakeholders and ensure alignment across teams.
If you are passionate about improving software release processes and want to be part of a team that is transforming the supply chain industry, we would love to hear from you.
