About the opportunity

Redis is looking for highly talented Customer Success Engineers/Developers to join our
CSE Team in Costa Rica.

Customer Success Engineers (CSEs) play a crucial role in our organization by assisting
customers in overcoming obstacles, offering essential guidance for product adoption, and
cultivating strong client relationships. They act as advocates for our customers within the
company.

Additionally, CSEs promote company interests by identifying opportunities for upselling
and cross-selling to existing customers.
In essence, CSEs collaborate closely with customers in the post-sales phase, delivering
comprehensive account management.

What you will bring to the table (requirements)

• 2+ Years as a developer and customer facing roles consulting, support or operations

Technical skillset

o Web Development:

▪ Understanding of front-end technologies like: HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass or LESS), JavaScript (and libraries like jQuery), Responsive design principles o Front-end frameworks: React.js, Angular, Vue.js and Back-end frameworks: Node.js, Express.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails

o Database Management:

▪ Understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and querying languages: SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis) o APIs and Services:

▪ Ability to integrate with and consume APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) provided by third-party services or platforms

o Basic DevOps Skills:

▪ Familiarity with basic DevOps principles and tools, such as: Docker for containerization, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

o Problem-Solving Skills:

▪ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. o Familiarity with using the latest tech deployment models

▪ Like Infrastructure-as-a-Services (IaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)

Non-Technical requirements

o Excellent skills in research and analytics

o English level (reading and writing) (C1 - Advanced), Portuguese is a plus.

o A demonstrable obsession for customer satisfaction, earning and keeping trust with attention to the wider overall customer experience

o Track record of ownership of tasks and experience in time management and prioritization

o A proven history of self-development and proactive learning

Performance indicators

• CSE’s performance will be reviewed using the following key performance indicators:

• Time to resolve

• Customer Satisfaction

• Response rate for customer Satisfaction
