How you will make an impact

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment

• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables whilst working in a team who enjoy knowledge sharing sessions

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology

• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards right across the product

What we are looking for

• You have 3+ years of backend engineering experience with a proven track record of delivery and end-to-end ownership

• You show vast experience in developing software in large-scale production systems, ideally using Golang

• You have strong software design intuition and clean code principles

• You have hands-on experience with distributed systems and micro-services in production environments

• You are comfortable with SQL-based systems and can troubleshoot data issues independently

• You have good knowledge of observability practices and how to use them to diagnose production issues

• You are an effective communicator, within your team and across functions

• You own a business-oriented mindset - you understand why what you build matters

• Experience in fintech or payments is a plus

• Familiarity with AI tools in your development workflow is a plus
