About the Position:

In this role you will drive a strategic AR plan to ensure applicable analysts from top tier firms are knowledgeable of Netskope’s offering, current, and future plans. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with Gartner, Forrester, IDC and other analyst firms to increase visibility, and understanding what research, directly and indirectly to Netskope’s space, is trending. Understanding key analysts’ priorities, Netskope’s priorities, and logical overlap, are important to ensure Netskope is viewed as a thought leader and driving innovation in key markets.

This Director role will strategically plan and execute programs to secure leadership positions in key vendor evaluations, including Gartner Magic Quadrants, Forrester Waves, and IDC MarketScapes. Operating independently in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment, this leader will define and track measurable AR metrics while collaborating across Corporate Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing, PR, and Campaign teams. The ideal candidate will scale operations efficiently, make sound business decisions aligned with Netskope’s priorities, and purposefully integrate AI frameworks and productivity tools to make the AR program faster, more scalable, and highly impactful.

The position reports to the VP, Analyst Relations & SASE Product Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a strategic AR plan that is in line with Netskope’s Corporate priorities.
  • Identify key analysts/firms, their relevant research, manage relationships, track progress, establish and own metrics, including key performance indicators, that reflect AR success.
  • Integrate AI tools, agents, and automation into daily activities to streamline operations, accelerate turnaround times, and scale the outbound reach of the AR program.
  • Drive the early planning and execution to yield positive results in Gartner MQs, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes - briefings, inquiries, and consulting sessions are key.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure appropriate content is being communicated to analysts early and often and insights are being extracted and communicated.
  • Leverage AI technologies and advanced tracking platforms to expeditiously capture, synthesize, and distribute analyst sentiment and feedback to key internal stakeholders in support of product strategy and GTM campaigns.
  • Ability to work with all levels and teams within Netskope including the C-Suite; autonomous and independent strategic planning, execution, and communication is a critical requirement for this role.
  • Ability to identify customer references, nurture those relationships, and ensure these are shared with key analysts.
  • Strong acumen for content creation - working with analysts is not a project management role - it’s important to help create content for analysts, provide insight on what works well and what doesn’t, and provide internal counsel to stakeholders that interact with analysts from slide content, demos, and talk track; all aspects of analyst interactions are led by this AR Director providing guidance and influence at every turn.
  • External conference participation - lead the planning and execution of participation at key industry events meeting with analysts, soliciting insight, and advancing Netskope’s agenda.
  • Work tightly with PR and Campaign/Launch teams to ensure analyst coverage is maximized and continue building market awareness.
  • Support numerous internal teams that can benefit from AR - help demand generation teams, campaigns, sales, PM, PSM and more.
  • Execute thoughtful consulting days with key outcomes in mind that help Netskope and empower the analysts.

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years with direct Analyst Relations experience including Gartner, Forrester, IDC.
  • 10+ years of experience with a technology vendor.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and proficiency with AI productivity platforms, large language models (LLMs), or automation tooling to drive organizational efficiency.
  • Exemplifies Leadership qualities including creation, owning, and communicating AR plans with top executives within the Company.
  • Superior strategic planning and communication skills with various stakeholders including the C-Suite.
  • Foster analyst relationships and support key executives in their analyst relationships.
  • Have a mindset of extreme ownership - do whatever it takes to complete a project successfully.
  • Ability to project manage and multitask.
  • Comfortable managing budgets, working with Finance, Procurement, and analyst firms to build, renew and negotiate contracts.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to synthesize complex solutions.
  • Comfortable working with key software tools including Google Suite.

Education and Travel:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Masters preferred
  • 25% Travel (Relevant Conferences/Team Meetings)

Compensation:

At Netskope, salary is one component of our competitive total rewards package. The salary range for this position is as listed below. This is a national range. For purposes of complying with applicable laws, the range applies to candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Washington, and other states.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will also be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the On Target Earnings (OTE) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target commission amount at 100% goal achievement.

In addition to salary, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus plan (for non-sales roles) and a stock award program. Candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive health plan and other benefits that can be reviewed at Netskope Benefits site.

Salary Range$103,000-$209,500 USD
