What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship. We're looking for a Recruiting & HR Operations Specialist to join the People & Talent team. You'll own the operational infrastructure behind how we find, interview, and onboard talent, and work closely with our recruiters, hiring managers, and People team. This role sits at the intersection of recruiting operations and HR coordination, and it's the right fit for someone who notices what's broken, knows how to fix it, and wants to build something durable. Location & work mode Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America - EST or CST preferred for timezone alignment with our Europe-based team. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel. What you'll do Recruiting Operations - Own recruiting coordination for a high volume of open roles and create a consistent, well-run hiring experience for candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers - Be the operational heartbeat of the candidate experience - scheduling, work trial coordination, and offer logistics are often the ones candidates remember most - Own our recruiting tech stack: keep our ATS (Ashby) clean and well-configured (templates, sequences, stages, reporting) and manage vendor administration - Support the offer process: send offers, manage
