Strategic Projects Manager (all genders)

Your role

As Strategic Projects Manager (all genders), reporting to the Strategy Director, you manage critical projects that bring the HelloFresh DACH strategy to life, with a focus on customer experience and business development. You own the AI roadmap for DACH, positioning the organization to unlock strategic and operational efficiency.

This role is available for a 24-month contract (extension possible).

Your area of responsibility

You will...

• Own cross-functional questions end-to-end, from defining the problem to identifying the relevant solution space and scoping initiatives based on recommended solutions.
• Translate business strategy into strategic projects and drive their implementation across the organization.
• Lead customer experience initiatives, with a particular focus on the Swiss market and its specific customer needs.
• Develop and implement scalable solutions to improve business processes and operations, such as revising the customer onboarding process or defining scalable production setups.
• Set up and manage cross-functional programs to coordinate and steer efforts across teams such as Marketing, Product, and Operations.
• Lead major cross-functional launches and initiatives, such as the introduction of a new brand or new packaging.
• Drive AI enablement across HelloFresh DACH, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency and ways of working.
• Partner with teams across the organization to implement AI and automation solutions and ensure they create tangible business impact.

Your profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in a strategic project management role, ideally gained in consulting or at a start-up/scale-up in a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce environment.
• AI proficiency and advocacy: familiarity with AI technologies and a track record of championing their adoption, e.g. through pragmatic automations or driving GenAI-native ways of working across teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills: experience defining solutions with stakeholders across different functions and seniorities, understanding their priorities, finding efficient ways of working, and breaking down complex, cross-functional challenges into clear and prioritized workstreams.
• KPI mastery and a commercial mindset: strong business acumen and a solid understanding of business metrics.
• Individual contributor autonomy: a true self-starter mentality, comfortable owning your output with minimal supervision and a high degree of self-organization.
• Passion for the customer: an intrinsic drive to champion the user experience and create measurable improvements across the customer journey.
• Entrepreneurial spirit: you’re not afraid to ask “what if,” challenge the status quo, and bring new ideas to the table.
• Language skills: fluent English skills; German skills are a big plus
