Indirect Procurement Manager - Operations (All genders)

The role

This is a strategic procurement role and you'll own a portfolio of indirect categories (Facilities Management [FM], MRO and Utilities, MRO) across HelloFresh's European production sites, designing and executing category strategies that deliver real P&L impact. You'll be a trusted partner to Operations, Engineering, and Finance leadership, shaping how HelloFresh invests in and runs its production network. The role reports to the Director Indirect Procurement.

What you’ll do

• Design and execute category strategies: spend analysis, market intelligence, supplier landscape assessments, and sourcing roadmaps
• Lead complex RFx events and negotiate high-value contracts delivering TCO savings,not just unit price reductions
• Build and manage preferred supplier portfolio per category: qualification, KPIs, and continuous improvement
• Partner with senior stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, and Finance across multiple European markets
• Translate business needs into procurement strategies proactively.
• Drive governance and best-practice adoption: contract management, supplier risk, and compliance
• Present category strategies and sourcing outcomes clearly to Director and VP-level audiences
• Support broader Procurement Ops team, if necessary, in CapEx, MHE, etc. projects.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in indirect or operations procurement, with genuine category depth, not surface-level exposure
• Multi-category experience in an operations or manufacturing environment (FM, MRO,, Utilities, etc.); the broader and deeper, the stronger the profile
• Proven strategic sourcing skills: RFx design, complex negotiation, and contract structuring for technically complex purchases
• Track record of influencing and building trust with senior, cross-functional stakeholders across European markets
• Fluent in English; German and/or French language skills are a plus
• Strong analytical mindset:spend data, cost modelling, benchmarking, and business case development
• Able to travel to production sites across Europe, if required.
