About this role
The Role
As an Account Executive at Hedra, you'll drive growth by building relationships with the developers, technical founders, and enterprise teams building on our API and inference platform. You'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, running a consultative process with technical buyers who care about latency, cost per deployment, model quality, and integration path. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to translate what customers need into where the platform goes next. Use cases span developer tooling and infrastructure, enterprise deployments, and media and creative workloads, so you'll be comfortable moving between a platform team integrating our API and a creative team pushing the limits of generation.
Responsibilities
Drive the full enterprise sales cycle for both inbound and outbound opportunities, from prospecting through close.
Land and expand relationships with Fortune 100 brands, driving brand penetration across marquee enterprise accounts and turning early pilots into production deployments.
Sell a technical product to technical buyers, developers, ML and platform teams, and the leaders who sponsor them, and hold credible conversations about APIs, integration, latency, and deployment economics.
Develop account strategies and identify high-value use cases to grow customers beyond their initial deployment.
Track and measure the key metrics that drive engagement, expansion, and value creation.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to win new business and surface unmet needs across existing and new customers.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years securing new business in AI, developer tools, infrastructure, APIs, or a related technical field.
Proven track record of hitting sales goals and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals, ideally including Fortune 100 or large-enterprise accounts.
Comfortable selling to developers and builders. You don't need to be an engineer, but you understand how technical teams evaluate and adopt an API or platform, and can earn their trust.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Prior experience in startup environments spanning all aspects of the sales cycle.
Demonstrated curiosity about generative AI, world models, and the inference and infrastructure that make them usable.
BS or BA in business, marketing, a technical field, or equivalent experience.
Who You Are
Self-motivated and independent: able to set ambitious (and yet accurate!) timelines and deliver on them.
Low ego, high patience, proactive communication. Strong opinions, weakly held.
Understand operational costs and overhead, short and long term, and how they show up in a customer's deployment economics.
And most importantly, treat Hedra as your own and help shape the vision with us.
About Hedra
Hedra is a research and infrastructure lab building physical world models and the inference to deploy them at scale. Backed by top investors at Index, a16z, and Abstract Ventures, we've built the foundations for full-stack visual intelligence in the next era of AI.
Today our API serves both first- and third-party models to production customers, and our agent works within a single workflow to create content from scratch, manipulate existing assets, critique its own outputs, and repurpose them on demand. We're scaling from frontier research into the infrastructure the rest of the industry will build on.
We started by commercializing action-conditioned, real-time interactive video generation. We're now extending that foundation to the broader class of physical world models that perception, robotics, and media generation all run on.
At Hedra, we're a team of hard-working, passionate individuals seeking to fundamentally change how visual intelligence gets built and deployed, and to build a generational company together. You should have startup experience and be a self-starter driven to build impactful products that change the status quo.
The team is fully in-person in SF with a shared love of solving hard problems.
