Manager Regional Operations

We're looking for a motivated and driven Operations Manager (m/f/d) based in Lisbon area who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

About the Role

• You are responsible for managing all operational topics concerning Flixbus’ bus partners;
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to enhance partner performance and service quality;
• You work hand on hand with other teams to build, maintain, and develop long-lasting partnerships with these Bus partners and Flix presence in bus stations, specifically in Porto area. Travelling within the country is expected at least once a month, most of the times with one overnight;
• You ensure compliance with Flixbus procedures and protocols, training, supporting, and developing the drivers of these Bus Partners and conduct regular inspections to ensure everything meets our quality standards;
• You will take responsibility for an accurate start of each new line and constant improvement of the quality of line operations, especially regarding fleet, drivers and punctuality;
• You take part in different cross-functional operational projects, including global driven ones;
• You provide, when required, field support with bus stations management, as well as with other structures located in travelling area (ex. ticketshops);
• Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Line Planning, Business Development) to ensure seamless operations.

About You

• 3-6 years of work experience in operations (transportation) in Portugal and/or Spain or a dynamic daily environment (handling daily incoming requests) ability to adequately deal with different stakeholders (bus terminal managers, bus drivers, operations supervisors or regional authorities) with high social and negotiation skills;
• Trustworthiness, engagement, resourcefulness and flexibility, as well as a hands-on mentality. Independent, reliable and responsible working style;
• Organized and full respectful of the Flixbus processes and protocols;
• You are willing to travel at least monthly. most of the times with one overnight. Occasional international travelling (max. twice a year);
• Portuguese (native/proficient speaker level), highly fluent in English. Language skills will be tested. Spanish is a plus.
• Know how to motivate internal and external stakeholders, and how to prioritize and organize yourself between incoming daily requests and longer-term tasks.
