As our FinOps Specialist, you will be responsible for safeguarding business integrity, operational resilience, and financial precision. Acting as a strategic subject matter expert, you will oversee high-risk transactional flows and collaborate cross-functionally to proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve operational risks related to merchants, FX, and financial processes.

You will play a key role in elevating the FinOps Specialist function into a highly standardized, automated, and data-driven discipline. You will design and execute an assurance roadmap that leverages technology, robust control frameworks, and best practices to drive operational excellence, scalability, and governance.

What will you be doing?

• Oversight & Assurance: Serving as a senior regional authority to establish, monitor, and enforce robust business assurance frameworks across regional markets and operations.
• Process & Control Transformation: Designing and executing a process transformation roadmap to simplify, standardize, and automate complex fx reconciliations, controls, and risk-monitoring mechanisms.
• Digitalization & Automation: Identifying operational gaps and manual vulnerabilities (e.g., in reconciliations, FX monitoring, merchant settlements) and partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance teams to implement sustainable, automated, and scalable solutions.
• Issue Governance & Structural Fixes: Driving root-cause analysis on operational differences, control deficiencies, and transactional anomalies; ensuring cross-functional execution of corrective and preventive action plans to achieve long-term structural fixes.
• Cross-Functional Influence & Alignment: Collaborating strategically with regional and global stakeholders (Finance, Treasury, Commercial, Product, Tech, and Compliance) to align priorities, mitigate operational exposure, and streamline workflows.
• Continuous Improvement & Risk Analytics: Establishing continuous monitoring mechanisms through key metrics, automated dashboards, and regular assurance reviews to provide visibility to executive leadership.

What skills do I need?

• High attention to detail, well organize and excellent analytical skills.
• 2+ years of experience in Projects, QA testing, internal/external auditing, reconciliations, or multinational companies.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data. Experience with Simetrik would be a plus
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and confident.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Solid experience with SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) to query, analyze, and build automated assurance dashboards.
• Applied AI & Automation Skills: Practical experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, Generative AI, or machine learning frameworks) and prompt engineering to accelerate data analysis, automate anomaly detection, enhance risk identification, and streamline core assurance workflows.
