We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our London team. In this role, you’ll lead, build, and grow teams of world-class engineers, taking responsibility for their technical execution and impact through ambiguity as we scale. This role is based in our London office with a hybrid setup, typically 3 days in the office. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers across various platforms. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Director, helping to shape the future of our three-sided marketplace. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: - Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary team of Backend, iOS, Android, and Web engineers, fostering a diverse and high-achieving environment. - Drive technical and product strategy by setting clear project goals, guiding implementation choices, and ensuring your team hits group-level metrics. - Champion a learning culture through active mentorship, helping engineers and emerging leaders accelerate their careers. - Scale our engineering practices by implementing processes and values that improve team efficiency and code quality. - Maintain technical engagement by contributing to code reviews and technical design, ensuring the health and observability of your team's systems.
