About the Role

We're looking for our first Go-to-Market & Business Recruiter to build the commercial organization that will bring Cylake's products to market and into customer environments. As one of the earliest members of the People team, you'll partner directly with our founders and business leaders to attract and hire exceptional talent across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Operations, Finance, and other critical business functions.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and enjoys building from the ground up. You'll spend significant time identifying and engaging exceptional candidates, advising hiring managers, refining hiring strategies, and continuously improving how we recruit.

We believe every early hire shapes the future of the company. We're looking for someone with exceptional judgment who knows how to identify talent that raises the bar - not only for functional expertise, but for ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and long-term potential.

We're also looking for someone who embraces AI and emerging technologies to improve sourcing, automate repetitive work, generate insights, and create an outstanding candidate experience without sacrificing the personal relationships and ownership that great recruiting requires.

What You'll Do

Build Our Team

• Own full-cycle recruiting for our Go-to-Market and business teams, with an initial emphasis on Sales.

• Build proactive pipelines of exceptional talent through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and creative market research.

• Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define hiring strategies, calibrate candidate quality, and refine role requirements as the business evolves.

• Balance speed with thoughtful decision-making, recognizing that every early hire has a lasting impact on the company's trajectory.

Build How We Hire

• Establish scalable recruiting practices, workflows, and systems using Ashby and modern recruiting technologies.

• Design interview processes that are structured, efficient, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

• Train interviewers and hiring managers to evaluate candidates consistently and make high-quality hiring decisions.

• Continuously improve recruiting through data, experimentation, and thoughtful use of AI-powered tools.

Build Our Talent Brand

• Deliver a candidate experience that reflects our values, ambition, and technical excellence.

• Build lasting relationships with high-caliber talent, even when the timing isn't right for an immediate hire.

• Help shape the company's reputation as a destination for exceptional commercial talent.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in venture-backed startups or other high-growth technology companies.

• A strong track record of hiring high-performing Go-to-Market talent, particularly in Sales and Customer Success.

• Exceptional sourcing skills and a passion for proactively finding and engaging passive candidates.

• Strong business judgment and the ability to influence hiring managers and leaders through thoughtful partnership.

• Experience building recruiting processes and infrastructure - not simply executing existing ones.

• A high degree of ownership, urgency, attention to detail, and accountability.

• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly across all levels within an organization.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees’ health, well-being, and long-term success. The expected salary range for this position is $170,000 - $220,000 per year. Within this range, individual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Most candidates can expect an offer within the range listed above. Your recruiter will provide additional details on compensation and benefits to qualified candidates during the hiring process.
