About this role

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack - from electrons to tokens - to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that - with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved - people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe builds large-scale infrastructure on aggressive timelines, and the crews who build it need a reliable place to live. This role supports the workforce housing program for our construction sites from end to end. You will forecast capacity needs, lead site selection for large-scale developments, create and drive hospitality standards and oversee the operational lifecycle of our Workforce Housing facilities to a standard our teams can count on.

This is a builder's job. You will design the process from the ground up, not just inherit it and ensure housing planning moves at the speed of our schedule instead of a step behind.

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Management and quality control

    • Oversee Workforce Hub operations with a hospitality-first mindset, ensuring that the on-site experience supports labor attraction and retention through consistent, high-standard living conditions.

    • Lead comprehensive vendor evaluations, monitoring budget, facility SLAs, and resident-experience KPIs, to ensure consistent service delivery and mandate corrective action plans when performance slips.

    • Define and enforce a program code of conduct that ensures a safe, comfortable and healthy environment.

    • Team leadership

      • Directly manage on-site Workforce Housing Site Coordinators, who run the day-to-day quality assurance at each Workforce Hub.

      • Set standards and motivate Coordinators and vendors to elevate the experience and resolve on-site issues before they escalate.

      • Capacity planning tied to the construction schedule

        • Translate the project labor curve into a phased bed-delivery plan, and re-plan quickly when the schedule shifts.

        • Surface capacity, cost, and lead time gaps early with the numbers to back them up before they become site problems.

        • Partner with construction and real estate to stay ahead of shifting housing demand.

        • Evaluate potential site locations, lead assessments, and navigate preliminary land-use requirements to ensure development viability

        • Commercial and financial management

          • Partner with Procurement on every RFP, vendor selection, and contract negotiation so sourcing runs through the right channel and budget objectives are met.

          • Build and maintain cashflow models covering worker ramp, deposits, monthly operations fees, and per diem offsets.

          • Reconcile modeled estimates against actuals on a fixed cadence, and flag variance to leadership before it turns into a surprise in an executive review - not after.

          • Track program spend against budget line by line and defend the business case when questioned.

          • Operational execution, data, and reporting

            • Stand up new Workforce Hubs with a focus on safety, hospitality, rapid mobilization, clear communications, and day-one readiness.

            • Build the repeatable playbooks and SOPs that let us open the next site faster than the last.

            • Use technology to scale how we measure and report on resident experience quality so quality visibility is maintained as we scale.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

            • A proven operator who has stood up and run complex, multi-stakeholder programs, ideally in construction, energy, hospitality, remote facilities, or large-scale logistics.

            • Someone who builds processes from scratch, including SOPs, playbooks, reporting rhythms, and clear decision rights.

            • Strong commercial and financial fluency, comfortable owning models, budgets, and vendor negotiations.

            • Sharp judgment on quality and a low tolerance for "close enough" when crews depend on the outcome.

            • A clear, credible communicator with executives who is equally comfortable onsite solving problems in person.

            • Proven experience leading and mentoring field or site-based teams, with a focus on coaching performance and maintaining high service standards.

            • Based in Dallas, with willingness to travel to sites as needed.

            Bonus Points

            • Direct multisite hospitality, remote facility, or remote-site accommodation experience

            • Experience negotiating and managing large multi-year service agreements

            • Familiarity with large scale construction scheduling and labor curve planning

            Benefits:

            • Competitive compensation and equity packages

            • Restricted Stock Units

            • Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs

            • Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance

            • Employer contributions to HSA account

            • Paid parental leave

            • Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability

            • Professional development & tuition reimbursement

            • Mental health & wellness support

            • Commuter benefits (parking & transit)

            • Cell phone stipend

            • 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary

            • Volunteer time off

            • Global travel insurance & emergency assistance

            • Daily meals allowance

            • Additional perks & programs specific to location

            Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $110,000 - $135,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
