We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to assist in the delivery of large-scale software solutions for the Australian government and across deployments in the Asia-Pacific region. In this role you will be playing a crucial role in translating technical jargon into practical value for our clients and partners. This role requires a perfect blend of technical acumen and interpersonal skills, as you will be tasked with presenting our innovative solutions to diverse audiences, ranging from technical contributors to executives.

You Will

• Assist in the onboarding and adoption of processes for new users, making sure they harness the full potential of Altana's offerings. This includes not only providing training and technical support, but also building relationships with user groups and mission leaders.
• Assist customers with in-depth analysis to optimize their experience and results, providing direct analytical support to the customer where necessary to realize value.
• Lead customer touchpoints and production of deliverables ensuring that customers are able to contextualize Altana's value relative to their mission.
• Act as the first point of contact for support requests, quickly engaging the right resources to resolve issues.
• Synthesize and communicate feedback to the Product and Engineering teams.
• Coordinate with our implementation engineering team to ensure successful technical delivery.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop an account growth strategy, identifying expansion opportunities and transforming them into reality.

About You

• 5-10+ years experience working with and delivering software tools and frameworks to governments, with knowledge of existing solutions in the open and commercial data environment.
• Policy experience or knowledge of the public sector space, including border and international trade processes, defence, sanctions, export controls is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills are essential, including experience operating with large datasets and using modern AI tools.
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and executive audiences, whether it's an impromptu whiteboard discussion or a prepared presentation and demo.
• The ability to correlate a customer’s specific business problems with Altana’s solutions.
• You possess a passion for tackling complex challenges within global trade.
• You're open to feedback and thrive on cross-functional collaboration to drive continuous improvements.
• Working knowledge of government operations, or procurement processes is a major plus.
• Either currently hold, or are eligible to hold, a minimum NV1 Australian Government security clearance.

This role is based in Canberra with hybrid work flexibility. We prefer candidates within commuting distance to our office, but will consider remote candidates who are a strong match. You are also expected to be available to hand off responsibilities to our UK team during UK hours and receive a handoff from our US team during US hours.

Salary Range

AUD 130,000-150,000 + Variable Compensation + Superannuation

The salary range, to the extent specified for this role, is a good faith statement of the minimum and maximum levels of the annual based salary for the position. The base salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on a wide range of compensation factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. The overall salary package includes a performance-based variable compensation payment paid periodically. Competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Altana's total compensation package.
