About the role: We are looking for an Senior Accountant to join the Finance team eager to make a quick impact on the team. The successful candidate will take part in our day-to-day operations and will work directly with business partners across the organization for month end close and corporate reporting. We’re looking for organized thinkers who want to be able to support a wide range of accounting subjects. This is a great opportunity to join a small team helping to scale a high growth SaaS business. What You'll Do: - Leverage technology, including AI, to enhance and automate processes to support company growth. - Review and enhance existing systems and tech stack to meet company goals. - Participate in technology and tech stack transformation to support company growth. - Perform critical accounting functions such as recording, reconciling and analyzing G/L account transactions. - Assist the Accounting team in the preparation of month end close journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis (for example: accrued expenses, fixed assets, prepaids, deferred revenues, payroll, intercompany, etc.) - Review customer contracts to ensure accurate billing, revenue, etc. - Assist with Accounts Payable to review, code, and process vendor invoices. - Review compensation and commissions to ensure accuracy. - Cross train with other accountants to serve as backup. - Assist with tax filings and audits
