Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Drive productivity across Agent Development: Identify what's slowing the team down, build metrics to measure it, and ship changes that increase productivity. Drive adoption through pilots and usage tracking, and program-manage cross-functional initiatives with Agent Dev contributors. - Standardize how Agent Development operates: Define, document, and maintain the playbooks and SOPs the team uses day to day, for both internal and external processes. - Leverage AI to scale Agent Dev: Identify manual, repeatable work across the team and build AI-native tools and workflows to create operating leverage. - Build feedback loops from the field: Capture what's working (and what isn't)across Agent Dev and feed that signal back into onboarding, SOPs, playbooks, and tooling. - Own onboarding, ramp, and conti
