You will work cross-functionally to develop the best endpoint experience for Faire employees while providing world-class support as an escalation liaison for the IT Operations team. What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain automations across our endpoint management tech stack

- Work closely with partner teams to design the best employee endpoint experience
- Have a keen eye for security best practices running a growing, mixed fleet of global endpoints
- Experience developing and deploying device trust
- Knowledge of EDR best practices and triage
- Exceptional customer service skills as you will be a point of escalation for the IT Operations team
- Document, teach, communicate, and reinforce procedures and best practices for the IT Team and offer technical mentorship and troubleshooting assistance to junior team members
- Set MDM controls and security posture for AI tools and agents on endpoints
- Evaluate and roll out AI-powered IT tooling, and use AI-assisted automation to accelerate scripting, config management, and troubleshooting
- Leverage AI-assisted automation to accelerate scripting, config management, and troubleshooting workflows
Qualifications:
- 5+ years managing a large distributed fleet of macOS and Windows devices
- Hands on experience with an enterprise MDM such as Workspace ONE, Jamf, or Fleet
- Proficiency in a shell (bash/zsh) and a scripting language (Ruby, Python, Golang)
- Experience managing endpoints or servers at scale using code-based configuration management such as Chef, Ansible, Puppet, or SaltStack
- Good understanding of Zero Trust or Beyond Corp concepts
- Comfortable with complex projects and able to build proof of concepts quickly
- Understands the importance of security, compliance, and privacy when working with personal data
- Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor) to build and maintain automation at scale
- Familiarity with the security considerations of AI tools/agents on managed endpoints (or willingness to build this expertise)
