Reporting to the Global Head of Internal Audit, the US Head of Internal Audit is a critical leadership position based in Atlanta. You will provide independent, objective assurance over the adequacy of Checkout.com http://Checkout.com’s governance, risk management, and control environment. This role is crucial for supporting our ongoing expansion throughout the Americas and requires an experienced, highly motivated professional capable of independent decision-making to align the internal audit function with strategic objectives and regulatory mandates in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience dealing with regulators and senior management in a payments-focused, banking or other regulated financial institution and act as the senior person Responsible for Internal Audit legal entity and regulatory matters within the US. They will be well-organised, adaptable to the changing demands of the role, and capable of independent and autonomous decision-making to drive Checkout.c
