The Community You Will Join:

Our Supply Team is growing, and we want you to be part of it! As a Market Manager for Brazil, you will be responsible for the overall supply health of the Airbnb marketplace in your assigned territories. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality listings, developing our host network, and accelerating supply growth. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, executional discipline, and deep market understanding to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires candidates to be based in Sao Paulo. This role is not eligible for relocation support.

As a Market Manager, you will be responsible for supply generation, market health, and strategic development in your assigned markets. Your role will be pivotal in driving acquisition, ensuring quality, and optimizing host relationships, ultimately strengthening Airbnb’s position in the region.

A Typical Day:

  • Own the end-to-end market strategy for assigned territories, defining priorities across acquisition, availability, pricing, and quality.
  • Manage a book of business consisting of assigned managed accounts, ensuring each account receives tailored support and is developed to maximize performance, supply contribution, and satisfaction.
  • Own and deliver against key supply KPIs including NALs, FTBLs, Forward Nights Available, and overall market-level growth.
  • Translate regional and country-level strategy into localized, actionable plans with clear impact on supply growth and market health.
  • Identify structural supply constraints (e.g., regulatory, pricing behavior, host segmentation) and design solutions to unlock supply and improve performance.
  • Monitor and analyze market health indicators, proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and driving corrective actions through WBR/MBR cadences.
  • Implement and scale acquisition and optimization programs, including field sales, and host engagement initiatives.
  • Design and operationalize repeatable playbooks that can be scaled across markets to drive consistent supply growth and performance.
  • Operates in close partnership with the Senior Market Manager for Brazil, co-owning market priorities and acting as a strategic counterpart for defined territories.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders (Public Policy, Communications, Central Teams) to unblock key initiatives and accelerate market growth.
  • Maintain predictability and accountability by tracking performance against targets.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on impact vs. effort, making clear trade-offs across acquisition, optimization, and retention strategies.

Your Expertise:

  • +7 years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or marketplace growth, preferably in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
  • Strong ability to define and execute market-level strategies in complex and evolving environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and measurable impact.
  • Ability to identify high-impact opportunities, diagnose root causes, and design scalable solutions.
  • Highly proactive, goal-oriented, and self-managed, with strong prioritization and decision-making skills.
  • Strong business judgment and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese (mandatory).
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).

The base pay range shown below is monthly, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
